all books by mark twain

As a coach and facilitator of leadership, I learned that what makes you happy, not only successful but also more likely to extend into the world positive. As Mark Twain said: "Whoever is happy will make others happy too." Live your life in this place is a powerful catalyst for positive change, not only in his life but the lives of others too. So the fundamental question is, what makes you happy?

The answer is simple but not easy. much happiness to equate lust, wealth, health, or fame. But these things do not make us fundamentally happy, that makes you want more, and today have been led to believe we can get for almost nothing. Many programs of the New Age self-help and happiness, for example, you say you can satisfy your desires with what you just visualize want – as if the universe was a catalog that you can browse and buy. It's delusional. Despite our efforts to find, access, whatever, do not get happier. Today days over a hundred million people suffer from depression, and this number is increasing every year.

What we really want is a sense of relevance, the purpose and belonging in our lives. This is not to be obsessed with what we are or are not receiving, or with very good track is not bad looking. Instead, paradoxically, This approach almost exactly the opposite: participation in the world to reduce the influence of self-concern. As you change your goal for yourself to other causes or more, surprisingly good feelings arise. A simple way of looking at things is to seek happiness for you kind and be nice to be happy? Interesting question is not it? Studies show that acts of altruism lead to greater happiness. Try to really empathize and support each other, for example, or give something in return without having to wait and see what happens. The good feelings arise. Contrast that with a new outfit. What feeling is about more sustainable?

The most interesting, moving home to one more focused on the world also brings greater success. In his research, Jim Collins and others have found that high performing organizations are run by people who are motivated, and the reader is directed to a great cause and more to serve that cause. This makes perfect sense. Think about it, if you're on a team and all the world play as a team, the team gets better results. If everyone plays for themselves, the team performs worse. The highly effective balance personal ambition with a dedication to a cause. They are both selfish and altruistic – and determined to succeed in serving others.

Then, moving from a self-centered world for a world more focused on other brands that not only happier but also more successful.
