Why use the vampires that interest in the supernatural romance novels? Why do not the werewolves?
Im working on a supernatural thriller and want to use something other vampire with a love interest. So I went on amazon.com for other books to use for inspiration. NOTHING. All had a love interest, the vampire. So I came here and asked people suggestions. All that was "Planet of the Apes" and "King Kong" (Ew!) What happens? Why the authors never use anything other than damn vampires?
Vampires are sexy, human beings are fragile and the vampire very careful not to harm them. Teeth can also be used for things as sensual as a drag on the neck, etc. You should read "Anita Blake" series if want things like a werewolf. This is not really an affair with Anita and a werewolf … until about the 4th I think. =)
