Is there such thing as a price guide of paintings sold at auction or otherwise?
I'm looking for a guide price of all types of paints. I wonder if this is a book all in one with information on the perennial value of the painters and their paintings are valued cases. Is there such thing as a painting prize guild similar to baseball cards, comic books and antiques?
No, it is not. You can find guides for auctions of different sales but not limited to the auctions. You can find individual artists' galleries ads, but not limited to the gallery. The market is looking for is extremely complicated and I do not think you have real rules. The hype over the artist has the price and the price may fall. This is a market risk, unless you have a lot of time. I paint, I bought 20 to 30 who are finally on the rise. 350./now 25.00/now $ $ 1200, $ 15 000 $. 125./now $! $ 1200., $ 18,000 USD 175.now. shop etc, I love finding new unknown artists and purchase of parts of youth and see their markets. But there's just too many artists out there for a guide. SORRY.
