I Found Love Thanks to an audio book!
audio books have many different benefits. Everyone knows the most obvious – that allow you to enjoy your novels favorite while running on your treadmill or a drive in his car. They offer a relaxing getaway from everyday life.
Recently I met another great advantage, but not so obvious audiobook – find love.
It all started with planning a business trip. Not long ago, the company I work trying to develop Europe, and has invited the CEO and some other employees to check a possible location for our European headquarters in Warsaw, Poland.
Between meetings, all would have a week of free time for ourselves. I had always heard about the beauty
Polish women are, and since I am just out of a difficult divorce, I thought it would be a great opportunity to try to find
the woman of my dreams.
Only one problem – he said not a word of Polish.
So we jumped in line and two days later, "Poland for Beginners", a book of two audio tapes, arrived in the mail.
Concerned of hours, I learned the basics – "cześć (Hello)," Dowidzenia "(goodbye), and not so basic, but it is also essential for my goal to find love – "Czy Moge piwo kupic cie?" (In that I can give you a glass?), and "Daj my Buzi (Kiss me).
Armed with my good appearance, charm, and now my knowledge of the language, which could Polish woman
resist?
In fact, in my third night in Warsaw, I met a beautiful woman named Basia coffee. "Jak sie masz" I said
it (How are you?). Fortunately, I knew a little English, they were able to sit down with our drinks and
communicate with each other across the two languages. It is also divorced, and has decided to visit her
sister in Florida.
So, after knowing each other for the rest of the week, Basia decided she would return to states
me so I could see his sister. And, of course, after that, Basia came to New York to visit me, and has been with
for me!
