What language should I learn first, Italian or Portuguese?
Okay, so I'm trying to learn Italian, to buy all audio books and things I need to study it. But in 2014 I hope to go to Brazil to follow the World Cup. I did not buy the team to learn Portuguese, but I'm not even thinking of buying a phrase book. Although it is faster and easier to learn Italian or Portuguese? And my mother tongue is English if that helps, I have half Italian so I'm still learning. Thanks in advance
Italian and Portuguese are Romance languages are very similar no matter why you started if you really want to learn so much from them. But after reading the reasons … I would tell you to learn Italian because it is one you've ever wanted and what they actually seem be interested .. and once you speak Italian will help a lot to learn enough to manage the Portuguese in Brazil.
