Every time I hear the term e-book reader for someone, usually in the same sentence I hear the word the Kindle. It does no doubt that the Kindle e-book Reader-line telephones are referred to other readers in their wake. Not far in the distance is the corner of Barnes and Noble and Sony PRS600. For our purposes, we focus on these three units, they are the most popular.
So why would someone choose one over the other.
The size is a factor if you want to store your wallet or the glove compartment of his vehicle. The Kindle 2 is the largest of 3 (although not much).
Duration the battery is more important to travelers. If you know you do not have access to a power source so it is really key. The PRS600 Sony and Kindle 2 can take up to two weeks before the need for a load. Meals range from ten days. Kindle food and the need for Wi-Fi disabled to get there. The Sony does not have wi-fi.
Internet is available in the food and Kindle 2 via Wi-Fi and 3G. This is not Sony. The Sony is more for purists. Kindle surfing the web is more than one type textcentric surf due to the limitations of the screen E ® Inka paper while dinner has a second full color TFT screen.
The viewing screen is crucial. The new E Inka paper ® screen technology is truly amazing and makes the read even in daylight better. The Sony PRS600 is a unit of the touch screen and therefore the sharpness of the screen is not as good as the other two players. The Kindle 2 and meals are 600 x 800 pixels 16 levels of gray. This allows a unique monochrome screen. The Sony has a higher pixel resolution with only 8 levels of gray … interesting.
The audio is on board with the 3 of these units. Each has headphone jacks and can play MP3 music. I like having background music, or sometimes nice audiobook while driving.
Buy the book is a no-brainer with the Kindle. No choice but to buy the Amazon Kindle store. This may seem a bit harsh, but considering it has more than half a million titles, is not so bad. The corner of Sony and is an open architecture design and therefore you can buy books from more than one place. Not to mention the sources of free books available on Google Books and Gutenberg.org.
Downloads Barnes and Noble Kindle Nook and 2 is a breeze you do not need a computer. You are utiliziing 3G wireless (it's free for both units), while the Sony USB requires a hook to a computer.
As I write these lines, each of these units is less than $ 200. Good case, in my books (no pun intended).
These are the main criteria in sight. See that fits your lifestyle and then proceed forward and a van. You will not regret. Playback does not become in the richest, and I find a literate person is interesting to talk to him. So interesting and choose one of these babies!
