I know there are many Star Wars books out there and I wondered if I could just get started and to hear the fate of the Jedi books. I'm like a cutter and listen to audiobooks while mowing. Most The books are in abbreviated form (an abridged version of the book, '). Destination series, books, movies, and some are in integral form (read the book Strait of pages) I prefer
Well considering that the fate of the Jedi series is 45 years after the events of ep VI … I think lose more than about the story line. Off hand I would say the only characters as you know are Han, Luke, Leia, Lando, Wedge … and that it. All the characters we know movies have died in the 70 books that are in the story line before the fate of the Jedi series. Personally I read almost every one of the books that emerged in recent years, so I think myself a Star Wars EU (Expanded Universe books) and reading of the sort of guru Jedi series sent me back to my book from the hands of old books "refresh" the memory, and even that sometimes does not work with this new series. Moreover, because they have no knowledge of these books do not mind and will understand that the fate of the Jedi series better … I must say that I doubt it, but who knows. As for Audio books … I hate the "abbreviated" versions … they are a slap in the face of the author and tend to overlook a lot of information to make history easy to understand. As you say, the full version is hard to find and often do not exist. I suggest you look for books in the Thrawn trilogy to listen. Titles are "Heir to the Empire," Dark Force Rising "and" The Last Command. " These books were written by Hugo Award-winning author Timothy Zahn and brilliantly written. Down 5 years after the events of PE in the VI and the books are really began. I found some audio books sites P2P, but they are "at your own risk" things with all the waste that can be found on p2p sites. May the Force be with you ….
