The power of books to transform your life
I listened to "The U.S. success Coach", Jack Canfield, and recently he told a story that reminds me of Bob Proctor "333 Story" of his international bestseller "you were born rich." In short, the "333 Story" is an excellent example of what you can get when you take a final decision and remains open to possibilities rather than focusing on the obstacles.
Jack Canfield, said that while he was in Atlanta promoting his book, "Principles of Success: How to get to where you are where you want to be ", Was interviewed by a woman who said his editor had sent him two copies of his book. She read and gave the second copy to his brother who had been unemployed for three years. Was depressed and refused to tread.
Just three weeks later, his brother had finished the book. He shaved, put on a suit and participated in three interviews. Only three days later was offered a job. Just write about what gives me goosebumps. Books made power to transform your life.
He was a novelist, journalist and poet Christopher Morley, who said:
"When you give someone a book, do not give as paper, ink
and glue. You provide the possibility of a new life. "
This man has certainly been given a new life when given the gift of "principles of success."
One can argue that a book only has transformed the world of personal development. Someone gave a little green book of Lloyd Conant, who spent a weekend to read and reread its contents. On Monday morning he decided to go to build a world class company and that's exactly what he did. Nightingale-Conant is a giant in the field personal development. The small green book site inspired Rhonda Byrne to create and produce the movie "The Secret" – a film I recently heard described as a blockbuster. It made me smile the film not people like Bruce Willis, Halle Berry, Samuel L. Jackson, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon and George Clooney. There are no spectacular action scenes, car chases suspenseful or elaborate sets.
Instead, the film presents a picture of Bob Proctor, Langemeier Loral, the Rev. Michael Beckwith, Jack Canfield, Lisa Nichols, Dr. Joe Vitale and Bob Doyle, among others. The film tells the teachers, philosophers, financial experts, psychologists, physicists and authors. Strange, no? But when you understand the spirit that made this movie is not really a surprise that has been so successful as it was and, more importantly, the power of this film to transform lives around the world.
