Parents of students first?
My eldest of four children, starts college this fall. They were / are, to surprise me all the work to find his son in this act, FAFSA, scholarships, scholarship applications, staying on top of financial assistance, in general, a loan application assistant orientation seminar, the bedroom or the implementation of housing, meals, buying everything for the bedroom, ordering books, collecting books, curriculum and student work and get their own jobs of your parking permit. . . He had a stack of documents on my computer printer for months and has been permanently added to that effect. I did not know there was so much to do, not that we / I would not have done.
You sound like my mother, a good way:) My mother had a million documents of my applications with my recommendation letters for everything under the sun (my parents are very well organized … if so could only be), but there are a lot of work, but once your child is in it like a huge weight lifted from his shoulders. Just go to each step step to what could be deleted from your list of things to do or understand. Try not too overwhelmed and try to breathe:)
