American poet, Langston Hughes

Langston Hughes was born on February 1, 1902 and died May 22, 1967, was an African American writer. James Langston Hughes Born in Joplin, Missouri. He has published works in all forms of literature, but was best known for his poetry and sketch of a black man "simple."

Most Singles Hughes parodies have no argument. Simple express their opinions on news. Frank, arousal, and impulsive. Hughes used to show what is an intelligent but uneducated, black pride might say if given the chance.

In his most famous poems, Hughes wrote with pride and positive about blacks. He experimented with poetic rhythms with the rhythms of black music in his poetry. The literature that gained the most likely to have influenced musical experiences of other African-American poets in the 1960's. Hughes was also very interested in theater. He wrote plays and well-known theater.

Langston Hughes is one of the most important writers and thinkers of the Harlem Renaissance, which was the movement of African American art in the 1920s that celebrated life culture and black. Creative Intelligence Hughes was influenced by his life in Harlem, New York, mostly African American neighborhood. His literary works helped American literature and politically. Hughes, like others active in the Harlem Renaissance, had a strong sense of racial pride. Through his poetry, novels, plays, essays and children's books, said equality, racism and injustice, and celebrated African American culture, humor and religion. It was a collection of poems in five sections showing that African-American city length composed the music using, poetry and history.

Hughes has written or edited more than 50 books. Examples of his work are not exempt from laughter (1930), a novel Channels Targets (1934), a collection of stories, The Big Sea (1940), an autobiography, Langston reader Hughes (1958), the best singles (1961), and five pieces of Langston Hughes (1963). The collected poems of Langston Hughes, was published in 1994, after his death.
