In Prague babies
We had a day off with a few in June and went to Prague for five days with our son.
Seek on the Internet for advice on travel to Prague and were ready, but there are things that we share with other passengers, you can not find in a guidebook.
To begin, we followed the advice of our friends and rented an apartment for our stay. It was certainly a better option than a hotel room. I think all apartments have boilers and furnaces, but not all of them have washing machines. As our son is 16 months old and explorer, who has the talent to get dirty head to foot by the end of the day. We had an apartment with a washing machine I do not think it is so important at this time, but once we got to Prague, he looked a laundry service. Laundry service is not expensive, it is once you have found .. not much in the middle, and washing clothes we were told that the dryer does not work that returns a bag of wet clothes hanging around the apartment to dry.
However, Prague is an ideal place for children. The air is fresh, unlike many other capitals, and there are many parks. We used to hang in Kampa, where you can sit on the grass and enjoy a quiet afternoon. We found the terraces Kampa beautiful, old historic buildings with gardens, by the current gives the Kampa River and is separated from the rest of the city.
On the right a small garden in the center is Francizskana Zahrada behind Wenceslas Square. The lobby is small and somewhat hidden from the main road so you can easily lose. But there others, like Petrin (near Prague Castle) and Vysehrad Gardens, where there is plenty of space for children to explore.
Another aspect of Prague Learn how you can navigate with strollers. The historic center with cobblestone streets, which is very romantic, but it's hard when you're on wheels. We have had a strong car with large wheels that could be used everywhere, but still need to avoid steps from Prague Castle or the steps of the fortress of Vysehrad (And there were lots of them). There is a small island in the river (easily!!) Most Legii accessible from the deck, but only by a considerable drain measures, which could not go.
So do not bring one of those little cars with small wheels of light that are so convenient in other cities, because here can be easily broken.
Prague is built on a hillside, much more. The old city is flat, making it the best place to stay with children small. We visited Mala Strana, which is the Charles Bridge Prague Castle, and found very beautiful. We would have liked to stay, but pushing the stroller down the hill in the (Library) is a company cobbled street was not going to do it every day.
The house itself very fond of children, we reserve http://www.pragueapartments-k.com . There were no objections to my son and we got free cot and a highchair. I have what is normal, but do not take for granted because there are some places the burden for babies or cots. We stayed on the ground floor, but even then there were a few steps at the entrance building. All houses were Czech, but we are used to very quickly.
