books for teenagers with depression
I need recommendations for books to teenagers as protagonists, but I'm tired of happy stories realistic.?

I'm tired of reading books that make the world seems like a piece of cake, where the characters live in a realistic world where everything works on them and they always have a happy ending. I read a book which shows a darker side of teenage life, and continues his fight. I prefer it has romance in it, but it does not matter if it is not. I'm looking for books with realistic qualities: young people falling into drug addiction, rehabilitation, psychiatric hospital, death, rape, suicide, alcohol, partying, murder, cancer, depression, etc. Just something that shows the flaws and the dark side of our world. I lovelovelove Candy Book of Luke Davies, who was in the addiction heroin bad, and I love Chuck Palahniuk books. I know someone will recommend Go Ask Alice, but I read that. I'm not a fan of the books written in a journal or poetry. I do not like the Twilight series.

Curse of Albrim by Trevis Powell. A great book.
