books and scholarships for college?
I can not buy textbooks this semester. I hurt my knee and was unable to work during holidays winter. I was thinking about using the money he earned to buy my books for next semester. I asked my parents for help, but I just got divorced and my mother bought a new house for her to have a place to live, and my father have to pay my tuition. So basically, both broke. I wondered if there scholarships or something like that could get me to help pay for books. Universities help you if you really need? I go to a small private school and so far were of great help in financial aid services. Even helped me get a Pell Grant. One of you in this situation? What did you do? Is there any alturnatives others? I know that to buy books from half.com, but I think I'll be able to afford.
Go talk to a first financial thing. Let's see if we can get a loan emergency or scholarship. Then, once you get a list of his books, see if your school library has one of them. Talk to your teachers and see if they have an extra copy, or talk with classmates and see if I could share books, etc. If that fails, go to the bookstore and see if you get hired. I worked at my college bookstore every four years. He was given 10% discount on all books to any person employed to precipitate the book and the books provided to all employees. Saved me a lot money!
