How to Eat and Drink in the Qur'an? (2)
This article will address the following topics: 1) Background and because of the revelation of verse 7:13, 2) The meaning of verse 3) How does this verse prohibition of a bad habit in worship Allah, 4) How have the knowledge base in medicine verse, 5) that the Prophet Muhammad said "how eating and "Drink, 6) of the Prophet Mohammad to accept the donation of a physician? and 7) What the doctor told Christian about this verse?
Verse 7:13
QARIB: sons of Adam, take your adornment at every Bethel. Eat and drink, and do not waste it. He does not like waste.
Adam: or children SHAKIR! Deal with your ornaments every moment of prayer, and eat and drink and not be extravagant, because he does not love the extravagant
Adam: PICKTHAL or children! Look to your adornment at every place of worship, eat and drink, but not generous. No, not lavish.
Adam Yusufali children or! Wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: waste not by excess, for Allah loves not the wasters.
The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad by the angel Gabriel during the period from 610 to 633 CE. Here, there is a difference between revelation of the Bible and the Koran. The Bible is revealed not as an entire book fragments.
The Prophet received revelations in the pieces, it is natural revealed that the text should have mentioned the problems of the day. Perhaps one of his dead partner, the revelation would have to enact the law of inheritance, which could be that the criminal law on theft, murder, or drinking wine, for example, was revealed at this time. The revelation has continued over the missionary life of the Prophet Muhammad, who was 23. A revelation was sometimes an entire chapter of verses short or long, sometimes only a few.
When the verse 7:13 was revealed?
1) The context and causes of revelation Verse 7:13
The bottom line because of the revelation of this verse
Arab before Islam used to make the pilgrimage to a stranger about their clothing and their eating habits during the day of the pilgrimage.
One of the important pillars of pilgrimage at the time of Abraham, the father of prophets, so far is "Tawaf" around "Kaaba"
Tawaf (Ring) means moving in a circle as a path around the Kaaba, which is present at the holy site of Mecca, the movement of people in Tawaf is like the motion of electrons around the neutron in the atom. while the electrons represent the people and the neutron is the "Kaaba". You can be found by clicking Tawaf if introductory video sites in the network.
However, the Arabs before Islam was a fun idea they used to do Tawaf while naked, and they are wise people, decided that daytime Tawaf men and women Tawaf at night and in the dark! The Tawaf naked because they said they are sins while wearing clothing that should be naked for God to accept their pilgrimage. Of course, this concept was satanic.
The Humor Another custom in the way you eat of a pilgrim. The Arabs were and still are famous for their hospitality. The Arabs living in Mecca was very kind to their guests who came from all places outside Mecca. The people of Mecca for many of these foods for thousands of customers. Here's an interesting discrepancy in the way of eating two groups. The people of Mecca to eat little or nothing to say these are the inhabitants of Mecca and its function is to provide food for the guests of God not to eat. and if forced to eat, ate very little the other hand, the guests of Allah, ie the inhabitants of Mecca, not common to eat a lot, much as they could, saying that food is sacred to them is presented in a holy place. Therefore, we are so extreme, a party who does not eat or eats very little and the other party who eat a lot.
Asked Muslims the Prophet Muhammad this point.
The angel Gabriel came with the answer, with verse 7:13
2) The meaning of verse7: 13:
Children of Adam!
Don your best attire, covering their nakedness, each place of worship, at the time of each prayer and the ring
Y eat and drink what you want, but not excessive;
And do not declare the illegality of healthy meat and fat.
Allah loves not those who really are excessive.
Allah loves not those who break the law and let go after illegal.
3) How does this verse have a bad habit ban on the worship of God?
It should be noted that many generations of Arabs before Islam used to do Tawaf (ring) around the Kaaba while they were naked. However, not all Muslims Tawaf while dressing and clothing of this verse was revealed and even present. In other words, the first third of this verse prohibits the practice of this evil.
4) How does this verse to have basic knowledge about medicine?
5) What the Prophet Muhammad said about "How to eat and drink?
6) The Prophet Muhammad accepted the donation of a physician?
Answers (4), (5) and (6) to (7).
7) What the doctor told Christian about this verse?
It has said that "Al-Rashid" King of the Arabs was a Christian doctor chip.
There was a very interesting dialogue between the Christian doctor chip and King Al-Rashid.
The Christian physician, said: O King, we know that science two religious sciences and health sciences, medical, and assume that the Koran tells Muslims around, but could not find anything affecting the health and medicine.
The king said: How is it possible! All health and medical sciences in the middle of a verse from the Koran.
The Christian doctor said: What verse?
The king said, "Eat and drink, but not excessive or extreme
The Christian physician, said: Wow, this verse summarizes all the medical and health sciences in a few words, but my king, you have nothing said or done by the Prophet Muhammad in the habit of eating and drinking?
The king said: We have a lot in this area.
First, the Prophet Muhammad said:
"The boat worse than the son of Adam fills the stomach "
The doctor Christian said: Wow, what a hadith!
= Say Hadith: Muhammad NB
The king said: Also, you are a Christian doctor who lives with us, but you know that the prophet Muhammad did not accept a doctor who led a gift from Pope in Egypt?
The Christian doctor said I have no idea about it.
The king said: After the opening of Mecca, the Prophet Muhammad sent the Pope of Egypt to invite … To know Islam, some Muslims sent to give an idea about Islam, the Pope of Egypt has sent messengers to the Prophet Mohammed some gift These gifts were: 1) a woman named Mary, 2) that certain containers honey and 3) a Christian doctor.
When the Messenger Muhammad came and gave gifts to the Pope for his prophet Mohammed said: We accept honey and wife but we do not need a doctor.
The Prophet Muhammad said:
People who do not eat unless we are hungry and if we eat do not fill our stomach.
The Prophet Muhammad said:
Just eat what you keep alive, but if you like eating much and want to eat much, and then have another three to the stomach, the food of one third, one third for drink and one third of your breath.
(This means that food does not exceed one third of your stomach volume wise, that is where you want to eat).
The King went on and said, but the broader Hadith summarizes all health and medical sciences in three words: "The stomach is the house of the disease."
The Christian physician, said: Wow! In fact, the Koran and the Hadith review the main points health and medical science in a nutshell. These words are more comprehensive and positive, as "Galen" he said.
NB: Galen is a of the famous Greek physician,
This dialogue between "Al-Rashid" The king of the Arabs and Christian intelligent physician happened after the death of the Prophet Muhammad approximately 170 years. But what about the Christian doctor which was presented as a gift from Pope of Egypt to the prophet Muhammad?
Muhammad gave her food, water, clothing, etc and ordered some of his teammates to join him and get his return to Egypt and to thank the Pope of Egypt.
Pope. From Egypt Muhammad asked why the doctor did not accept the gift as a Christian doctor replied: Verily, my father! You have sent the father medicine, he and his people do not need a doctor.
See the people at that time had fruitful discussions, which used to respect each other, were able to differentiate between truth and false. They were also very well informed, they were very well informed Pope in Egypt, the king of the Arabs, the Christian doctors.
But what about the prophet Muhammad, who said:
"The stomach is the house of the disease."
It was very well informed? Or was he inspired by God?
How are way ahead of today's scientists who say the gastrointestinal tract covers about 60-80% of the immune system total body?
Back in verse 7:13, is divided into three parts:
Part prohibits the use of Tawas pain.
The second part gives humanity the best way to eat and drink.
The third part says that God does not love aggressors.
Compare the meaning of the verse 7:13 of the Quran in verse Ezekiel 12:18 of the Bible that says: "O son of Adam, eat your bread with trembling and drinking water from their agitation and pain."
intelligent reader reported that then ask the scholars who claim that the Quran is quoted or theft of the Bible, I ask:
Is the Quran quoted from the Bible? And they know how to respond!
