Questions about selling a gun on the internet?
First of all, this is a real question. I am moving to Japan in a few weeks for a year. I am trying to sell off my Glock model 21. It is legal and registered to me. I bought it at a gun show in Colorado a few years ago. I currently live in Philadelphia PA, but I have a Georgia driver’s license as I just moved to PA from GA.
Anyhow, I am trying to sell it on auctionarms.com.
Anyone ever do this before? Any advice? Any suggestions?
I gave all the background stuff as I don’t know if that will be relevant or not. Can I just list it according to the rules on auctionarms.com? I have never sold a gun online before, so I want to make sure that I am doing this legally and by the book.

You can sell it online at that location.
However, you will have to ship it from one Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer, to another Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer, where the purchaser can pick it up. Be sure to include the shipping cost, plus the handling costs by both dealers in your auction price.
When you log into auctionarms.com there is a buyers area and a sellers area, check out the restrictions on both and be guided by them
Whatever you do, do not accept any offers to sell outside the site or ship directly to the purchaser. Undercover ATF agents monitor and pose as buyers on these sites all the time.
