Is an Ipod shuffle a good MP3 player for audio books?
My mom has poor vision, and misses reading. I want to buy her an MP3 player that’s small and easy to use. Maybe for a bit of music for her too. But if an Ipod shuffle shuffles, will it be any good for an audio book or will it mix the chapters up? Any suggestions for a player that is suitable would be appreciated! Thanks!
I would get her a cd player instead. Most audiobooks come on CDs now, and the ones online you can download and save to a CD. I would think a portable CD player would be easier and probably cheaper to get in the long run, especially if she has poor vision.. I read alot of audiobooks and find CDs a great way to do it. You can check CD audiobooks out from the library; if you set her up with an MP3 player you will more than likely have to help her with each book you get. She can have more control and freedom with CDs.
