I am a 13 years with the fear of going alone on a plane?
I see a lot of videos in 9.11 and now I have to fly to Toronto, Ontario, Canada this summer. I live in Portland, Oregon, I know that even if a hijacker took a plane wouldnt be in Oregon to Canada, right? (Right?). I'm still scared because everything that happens is 9.11 and the terrorists and suicide and accidents and screaming. I'm scared to death of dying! I know it's the best way forward but I'm still afraid of death after watching videos 11/09. I could go! I know that if I listen to music or read a book, however, ill think about it. Can mature, sensible and balanced person if you help me please? I have 13 years of age and a child.
The person above is correct. Security is tighter now. You'll be fine. I flown since I was 8 (in my 30 years now) and have never had a problem. I even flew just three months after the background of 9.11 then leave the country without any problems at all. In fact, were some of the quietest flight I've done. They are still asking people to take their shoes X-ray machine to take something, you can remove easily. Take your music and try to find something you're listening to relaxation. It will allow more something to pump blood. Once you're on the flight and see how good he is likely to relax. And by all means, stop seeing things about the 9 / 11 and had yet! You do a favor to let it be the only picture in your head. Bring things to the plan that you find relaxing or make you laugh. You will be amazed at what can help.
