Does anyone know why the release date of “Dead in the Family” has been put back till the 10th June?
“Dead in the Family” – Book 10 of the “Sookie Stackhouse” series by Charlaine Harris was originally supposed to be published at the end of May 2010. The new release date is June 10th 2010. Does anyone know why it has been put back.

I’ve pre-ordered it from Amazon. £8.75 or there abouts. Postage and packaging free with the Super Saver which means That’s all I pay.
Amazon sent me an e-mail telling me that their supplier has put the date back to June 10th and when I checked the “fantastic fiction” it also listed the release date as June 10th.

There could be any number of reasons that a release date gets pushed back. They might want it to correspond with a release of True Blood videos or there might be an editorial problem or she might have taken a bit longer to finish the book. All we can do is wait it out and hope they aren’t going to up the price of the book.
