Why is the new Charlainne Harris “True Blood Omnibus” (Collection of first 3 books) shorter than the old one?
I want to buy the new True Blood Omnibus however it is only 720 pages which is shorter than the first the books added together – which doesnt make sense. The old one was 916 pages which was the correct size. Play.Com still state 916 pages whereas Waterstones and other book websites display 720 pages with a new publishing date of 5th November 2009 – what is the difference?

The only difference is in the size of the margins and lines per page. Obviously in the new edition, they have altered these things so as to save money on paper. It is exactly the same stories but just in less pages.
If it was abridged, they would be legally bound to mention it. As they do not, it means that the book contains the entire three books without anything being taken out.
