The book The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson, the appropriately aged children to school?
I am in eighth grade and asked me if it was too scary or inappropriate. Thanks! Im 14 years old
So that means you're what, about 14? (Sorry, I'm in the UK we have a different school system.) Personally, I think once you're about 14 you should be able to read anything and you should not be limited in its reading area teen books or because the book has adult content. I do not think that books should come with some sort of age restriction. I would say any book * * Is appropriate for a 14 year old. You are in adolescence. No 10 is more. If you want to know what the content is similar but has a murder mystery plot and no violence, some sexual, and yes, the characters are adults, they behave as adults, and the relationships you have with adults. I'm sure you can do their own judgments as to whether this is the kind of things you'd like to read or not. There is nothing here to bother me when I was 13 or 14, but then never bothered "inappropriate" the content that you seem to be, then maybe we have different standards. Word of warning the first 70 pages I was bored rigid, but it has really taken over is much more interesting. After a slow start, could not put it down, if you choose to read it, it is worth persevering. I have 34 years and if I have a son your age, I would be happy for them to read – in part because I am convinced that if there was anything in the book were found in fear or upset, tell me if I wanted.
