Is it possible to homeschool 5 children under 5 years?
I homeschool my children. I did it for a year. The oldest just turned 5 and is reading in the category 2 and make 1 st year of math. My 4 year old daughter has mild autism (her IQ is normal, but style is difficult to learn and a slight delay in speech), I have a very active two years and I am pregnant with twins. I do not any "school" because I am pregnant, and I rarely read a book before reading at least 5.4 pounds per day. Now I'm exhausted. The house is very dirty and can not afford a maid. I have no family here to help. After delivering the twins, I think it 'll be busy for at least two years. Therefore, you can still homeschool? I'm afraid if I put 5 years at school, come back and my autistic son is not learning at all in a social context. Anyone have any suggestions or have gone through this? My husband works 10:00 to 21:00
It is possible – anything is possible – but not easy. But how easy will be to Children and ready in the morning and drag them to school and pick them up right after the afternoon nap in the middle of the youngest? =) How is a support group? Would it be able to trade in child care, or maybe a project to of service as a young school come home and help to 03.02 mornings a week while they are teaching older children, at least for the first year or two? Look around and see what are the resources you have available to you -. His house is so complicated that I can say that I totally feel your pain, and I have two teenagers and only a younger child? Thus, five less than five I can imagine your home would be insane. = D What I can suggest "within ten years, ten years later beginning? Dang, I can not find the article in question, but was enriched by Johannah Banham homeschool magazine. The basic idea is just ten minutes before each meal, and ten minutes after each meal, the chips of the family as a whole and not working. Their four and five youths will not be able to make a whole lot, but will be able to do something. In addition, cut into small segments to help exhausted. Perhaps before meals to make a "quick clean" and then wash the dishes or cleaning toilets or something? Another alternative is always useful "Flylady" It http://www.flylady.net/ things more manageable bites …. and always reassured me with his words "you are not behind! Just go where he is." =) As for homeschooling, I take a simple and sweet until you find your feet. Read a lot of things to their children. Lots and lots. Read and hugs. Provide plenty of picture books to explore when you are Dang just too tired to read and / or get books on tape for them, or at the library or perhaps as a birthday gift or whatever.
