I am looking for a children’s book about a naughty boy?
It’s about a little boy, named Davey, or Billy. This little boy does bad things like running down the street naked, playing baseball in the house, being too loud. In the end Mom tells the boy she loves him. Each page has short simple sentences like, “Davey, settle down.” I read the book to my preschool class, but it wasn’t my book and I don’t have it anymore. I can’t remember the title, or the author. I did a search and nothing came up, not even on Amazon. I did notice that the book had a Caldecott Award stamp on the cover, but I did a search on Caldecott award winners and the book didn’t come up. Please if you know the book let me know.
