The half.com (ebay subsidiary) is something called an ISBN. I'm buying?
of my books from there, if what I did was called to my library the university and asked for the ISBN number, and year the book. I got all the information, and I'm looking at half.com, half.com but the ISBN is not the same as I got in school, but it is very similar to what (like the first few ISBN numbers are the same as half.com, but not the end). So my question is can I trust in this purchase, but the ISBN number is not the exact number described by the school, but half.com have the edition number and the number of good years? Should I go ahead and buy, because it is cheaper to buy books there to buy the school library.
In my experience, if the ISBN is not exactly the same book is a different edition. Save your money. Another option is to contact your teacher and ask you to use the book by the same author, but a different edition. All my teachers usually let me.
