"International Edition" textbook. Is this a scam? What does this mean?
I'm buying my books for college and do not hold the same book, but the international "Edition" available for much less. What's wrong with that?
I several international editions. They are printed on cheap paper and may take more than a month to arrive, but are much cheaper than those bought at most bookstores and online venues. My copies were supposed to be sold in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Students can not afford to spend more than a hundred dollars on a book – the class probably did not cost that. Therefore, companies will publish much cheaper to sell abroad. As always is in English, should be the same book you need – mine. But, again, gives you plenty of time to arrive.
