Paypals scam part 2 update/more info?
OK I could of had him return the comic but in past experiences with the PO they have told me that all claims have to be filed through the reciever. I had another claim on a $1000 comic awhile back that I had returned to me. They told me that since the damage happened on the way to the buyer and not on the return trip to me that they couldn’t file a claim. They also said that even though the comic was valued at $1300 book price and sold for $1000 (I had the paypals payment as well as a copy of the finished auction) that unless the item had been graded by a professional grader they couldn’t issue a refund becuase of the collectible nature of the item and the widely different prices according to condition. They refused to even give me the $1000 that was paid for the book. the comic had been shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box and the box had got the corner smash the comic had major damage and creases to the corner but the PO said it looked “fine” to them
