Some way to get a Mac Book by July?
I’m a college student, and I need at least a 2.16GHz 2gig ram Mac Book by July. I can’t take out loans, I can’t get a credit card.
I have graphic/web design skills and I’m working two jobs. Is there ANY way I can make enough money or find a program for students that I can get this laptop? The education discount on the apple store isn’t enough to make a dent.
I’ve tried twice now to design websites for clients, but both pulled out before I could even start working.
I’ve sold my textbooks, my game consoles, my pda, bunches of DVDs… I’m still nowhere near close enough.
Other than what you are already doing, I don’t see any other way. Work work work.
Is there any reason that you need it by july?
Maybe you can adjust your wishes slightly, so you have to save up less money.
The 2.16GHz with 1 gig RAM works just fine for most applications and you can always upgrade it at a later time. How much harddisk space do you really need? Are you going for the Pro, or just the regular Macbook?
