Thinking of what laptop to buy for college?
Hey, So im going to be a freshman at college next year and I want to buy a new laptop to take up. I’ve always had PCs at home but I’m starting to like the idea of a mac book pro. I’ve always thought PCs are easier to use but friends that havs MACs say that they are just as if not easier. Does anyone have any suggestions what to get? Thanks!
*Apple has a special going where if you buy a macbook pro they give you a free iTouch and a printer, I also work in a mall with an apple store in it and some people i’ve gotten to know from there said they could get me a small discount added on.
Chubbz- Im not 100% sure on my major, but I know it won’t be computer graphics or engineering
It depends on your major.
If you’re planning on doing anything scientific/engineering related, then don’t get a mac, as most of the specialized software you’ll be using is Windows only. Also, VBA doesn’t exist in the mac version of Office.
Otherwise, its just personal preference.
