Writers: How can a book be “banned”?
I’m currently working on a book and in my book religion is changed a bit like for example the heaven in my story is like a planet earth. But each different afterlife is like a different continent. Like the christian heaven is like as big as north america ( maybe bigger) and God rules it. And hell is a different planet. The greek underworld is like the continent greece and so on.
Someone put me down a bit by saying that with religion changed a bit in my story my book will probably be banned if ever published.
No rude comments like ” your book is a disgrace” things like that if you chose to answer my question.
I actually like the idea. It sounds like one of the religions actually out there.
They aren’t going to ban your book if they never banned Naked Lunch by William Burroughs.
