Why does a new museum in Kentucky promote the twisted views of creationists?
I think someone is getting rich off of this. If you are one that beleives in a literal interpretation of the bible, open a history book and read about the origins of Christianity. Don’t listen to the TV evangelicals for once, they are power hungry and use religion to their own ends. If you want an honest and open minded introduction to the debate, get a copy of “Evolution vs. Creationism”. There is so much evidence backing evolution. Religious dogma is hurting science! Furthermore, they are taking over America! Three of the major Republican candidates for the presidency do not beleive in evolution. I’m so mad that it’s boiling out of my ears!
Why Kentucky? Well they sure weren’t going to put it in Detroit.
It’s sad how many people have been duped into believing that you have to be an atheist to accept evolution. That would be big news to the millions of Christians who realize that people weren’t formed from ribs and there wasn’t a boat that had 2 of ever species on it.
These people who post “Oh, see now you know how we Christians feel” have obviously never researched the subject of evolution (and no, reading a couple of creationist websites doesn’t count). But no, it’s much easier to just give me a “thumbs down” and move on, I’m sure.
