Amazon vs Ebay sale for the value of high school?
Sold on eBay for the last 6 months. Buy top of things more often (the iPhone, Laptops, iPods, blackberries, cameras, high definition video, etc. ..) What are the advantages or disadvantages of selling high value on Amazon? Is it hard to start selling expensive things there (it took me three months to sell cheap books and DVDs to build my feedback on eBay before I started selling the finer things and more)? Is it easier to sell abroad at Amazon (70%) of my sales are overseas at this time due to the weak dollar. Is there a high risk of fraud as buyers on eBay?
Hi Jack, I've been an eBay seller of Ten years and still not enough on it. However, I have heard many success stories on Amazon, so I started looking into it as well. The first thing you should know is that Amazon has "classes" closed to new sellers because they have too. So you might want to check your class to see if you can still sell there or be on a waiting list. As international sales I think the biggest problem is that Amazon has set prices for transport if your items are too heavy and could become a problem. Not to knock the price for heavier items to make money. It appears that Amazon is much more involved in the sales of eBay and the risks of fraud, in fact, less. People are not done arbitrarily Requests not to receive, etc, as they can on eBay. In general, I think is really the field of research. Many sellers are various channels and more. Good luck profitable!
