123 of the Learning imaging digital interactive suite was developed in 2001 by Vincent Bockaert provide information to the photograph was of two amateur photographers and professionals in an interactive format. Here we are almost a decade later and the 123 of digital imaging is as current as ever, it is not easy to achieve in the world of digital photography pace. This is the beauty of the product, and shows the true dedication and Vincent his crew were keeping this amazing product so far. No wonder the halls imaging are very popular with schools and government agencies such as police and armed forces. Moreover, many leading industry manufacturers Intel, Canon, Epson and others use training 123di internally. High praise!
I bought my first copy of 123di (version 2) about 6 years Version increased to 4 years ago and recently updated its latest version, version 6.2. Digital imaging has changed incredibly in this short time and but I find these versions to be very well done I felt it was time to see what Vincent and his crew were the last 123di. I bought the latest version a few weeks ago, here's a quick review.
The appearance only 123 of the digital image is that it is an ebook with even more of what most of them give us. beautiful illustrations combined with animated sequences and interactive interface that the product is a pleasure to go if you're a beginner or a professional photographer. Over 5,500 pages cover topics ranging from understanding of digital images (light sensors and more) in the choice of lens and camera, exposure, composition and editing. A large section on editing RAW is available for advanced users and I recommend even starting to explore. A concept only one of three levels of learning, starting, basic and advanced. This allows you to choose a theme and work your way through information based on your knowledge of the time, to carry out more advanced techniques that you feel more easily.
While the 123 of digital imaging in essence refers to the using Photoshop and Photoshop workflow procedures of the elements and change the information applies to almost any photo editing software out there, even if you do not use an Adobe product in this section still offers many useful and relevant information. Lightroom and Adobe ImageReady are also well documented.

Being a Nikon user is the edition I bought and I found the information Nikon NX2 (my editor of choice RAW) very well presented and very informative. I think often the reference section that I work on images and is infinitely better than NX2 official manual. Again, using numerous illustrations really understand many concepts much easier to read a book or a typical eBook. I do not use other programs Nikon, but we hope that the information contained in 123di would be equally good.
123di is available in a standard edition and enlarged edition. The extended version worth the additional purchase price, whether you buy the normal version or the special version of Nikon. For $ 10 more you gain the possibility to bookmark pages, add notes to pages, the search for several keywords and a host of other benefits. With more than 5,500 pages available information I found that it is a necessary function to keep track of what you learn and explore.
What is my verdict on this product? As a photographer professional with over 30 years of experience I like to think I have a good command of the art photography. I also do digital photography from the Middle Ages ago about 10 years and I taught photography classes in recent years. In this spirit, I am amazed at what I learned from this guide to photography digital and can do with the 123 of Digital Imaging as an educational tool in future courses. For the first photographer, there are years worth of potential learning here and the great user interface makes information available in seconds. For the seasoned professional, there are a lot of information Digital photographs available valuable.
