A penfriend asked me hw he can be sending money abroad in other to register for magazines,ebooks etc?
He is a Nigerian(African Penfriend) and he wants to be buying ebooks, magazines and also be a registered member of some scientific or/and any other good and meritable societies.So also he wants to be a premium/Gold subscriber to some magazines or interested sites.He does not have an access to visacard or any of this card that could be used,neither is their any possibility of the banks allowing moneygram transfer from Nigeria banks out except to come in.How can He succed in this issue please?
Unfortunately, there have been a large amount of “scams” pulled by Nigerians (not saying your friend is one). Most of the bogus email scams come from that country. As a result credit card companies and others are very cautious then it comes to doing business with Nigerians.
I find it strange that a Nigerian bank will not issue a credit or debit card to him but I’m not an expert in Nigerian banking law.
I believe since credit cards are not available he can use Paypal. They are a respected internet payment facilitator.
