Do you buy eBooks, buy online or buy from brick and mortar stores?
My newly released young adult novel Gameplayer: The Genesis Portal (Helm Publishing ISBN 0977820556) is mainly sold online at sites such as amazon.com books,
target.com books and barnesandnoble.com .
I was recently contacting about selling Gameplayer as an eBook and I’m trying to decide.
I buy and sell – buy most often personally for me on-line and most often for stock, in stores.
Would it cost you anything to offer it as an eBook? I’m guessing they have some figures for you, about why it’s a good idea to go this route. Do you have an agent? Could you ask for advice? Maybe post somewhere or ask a question specifically about writers experience with eBooks. I know an individual that had short stories selling as eBooks – I think she got a percentage, but didn’t have any upfront costs on her end.
And would the PR help? Would it be more? If so, might be a good plan.
