please answer!!! what can i do about not getting my check in time?
im going to school for medical receptionist
so i basically my financial aid had been completed on sept. 9th
im 18 and started my first day of school at a tech. college on sept. 20th (also checks were being handed out today but the line was so long i didnt feel like waiting)
TODAY i tried to get my pell grant check cause i did my financial aid, but i couldnt get it. the lady at the financial aid office said i wont be able to get it til oct. 27th
the thing is, i need my books for my classes asap. theyre so expensive of course, so since i dont get my checks til next month, im gonna have to use my own money to pay for my books?? (its like $550 for them)
and when i get my check what am i suppose to do with it… since i already got some of my books…
like wtf this is hella frustrading me .. can u help me please =(
When you get your check, then it’s just like getting a refund, you get your money back for the books and then some. You can do whatever you want with the refund money, if you’ve already purchased books, maybe you need to get other miscellaneous school supplies? A computer? Stuff that would be considered “educational”.
