Parents, do you think this will work or will I get in trouble?
We are planning a quick mini vacation to Great Wolf Lodge. There are 14 of us that want to go, all couples with 2 kids, and then 2 extra adults. Our kids are ages 3 and UNDER. There are 3 babies that are 1 year old and then there are two 2 year olds and my daughter is 3 1/2. Well, the rooms are outrageous and I know children under 2 are free in the water area, so when booking the room online, do you think I could get away with just saying 4 adults in each room and 1 child, since the others are under 2? If not it is about $750 for 2 rooms just for 1 night!!! If we do it this way, not much cheaper, but its right at $600. I don’t know, do you think this would work, or should I not do that? Thanks
Every living thing (adults, children and pets included) need to be accounted for in any hotel. It’s a safety issue. If (I know it won’t happen but IF) the place catches on fire, the hotel staff needs to know how many people are in each room so they can rescue everyone.
So if you say only 8 people will be staying in the rooms, they will only look to evacuate 8 people.
If you want to ‘lie’ about something try saying the kids are younger than the actual truth. Maybe the 3 year old children are only 2 but will very soon be 3 if anyone asks.
