What are the most important and easily attainable skills I should seek as a web designer?
I have the basics of HTML, Frontpage, Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I know about the publishing process and ecommerce principles. I know a little something about XML. What my best bet (technologically speaking) for my next skill? Something I can pick up a book and learn (for free) pretty easily that isn’t going to be obselete in 5 years that can also increase my value as an employee? Something that holds the most value and is easiest to master in a week or less?
