When I published my first e-book earlier this year, I knew enough about writing, but do not really know where to start Word processing completing the manuscript to ebook. The final presentation had to be 100% professional, but I would not spend money on additional software. I made many errors and wasted little time but eventually succeeded in self-publishing an eBook – and sold in digital iBooks Apple Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords and more than a cheap web site, I can set for under $ 20 including the domain name for one year. The site has a store now and you can download to adjust all a few clicks (see MR SITE, which sells in the UK and U.S.). It was a steep learning curve.
These are some of my main problems and how he come around:
Q: What software you need to make REAL book?
A: The professional designers use Adobe InDesign, which sells for around $ 1000. You do not need that. You do not need either Adobe Pro. All you need is the free version of Adobe PDF. If you post directly to the eBookstore digital and Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple iBook so you do not need a PDF file, after forming their guidelines just transferred directly from Word or HTML through. Every printed book sold in a store and / or stored in a public library must have an ISBN number and barcode. ISBN means International Standard Book Number. ISBN registration agency managed by Nielsen in over 100 countries worldwide. You can buy your own ISBN if you want to give your book an identity, but you must buy in lots of 10 costs £ 111.86 / 163.00 dollars. The good news is that no ebooks needed. There are advantages, but do not have one.
Q: How I can begin to understand all different formats – ETC EPUB?.
