Construction of e-commerce websites: Where to start?

Creating a website is not something that is really cut and dry. There is a wide variety of products and services that can help you get your web page where you want or simply confuse you. It is also important to make the right decision from the beginning so you do not end up having to restructure your whole web site because of problems in layout design. The level of investment necessary for mastery of time in many of these programs can vary from little to a very large amount. Because of this, I think it's important to be a leader in the "right" to ensure that no get lost in the wrong places, or learning software may not be as useful to you later (* cough cough * * FrontPage).

When you need to start much depends on what you intend to try to do, and how deep to dive for a moderate professional, clean website for research, no graphics or both intensive automation of animation you can probably get by with some basic knowledge of HTML ability with a good WYSIWYG editor, and an image editing program. On the other hand, if you are someone looking to build something to really surprise your audience, then you might consider chance to spend some time and the development of major animation skills with a program like Macromedia Flash. I personally always spring for what I believe I will bring the most benefit with minimal effort, and therefore usually end up spending all my time in the deep dive with my only WYSIWYG HTML editor, and my editor image.

# # What a "WYSIWYG" editor? # #

A WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) HTML editor is what allows get by with minimal knowledge of HTML. Yes, that means we do not know everything about HTML to have a decent looking website. When you use a WYSIWYG editor interprets what you're doing (inserting an image for example) as a certain series of HTML tags with attributes and do it for you … So what you see on your screen is what you get. Instead of seeing a bunch of HTML code in text format, you will see what is actually shown in your browser once your web site is doing there. I recommend using the latest version of Dreamweaver – is well known as one of the best HTML editors by consensus. Dreamweaver interface is very friendly, has built-in FTP client, and is specifically designed to be flexible enough to suit both the encoder and current amateur webmaster.

Well, let's be realistic: if you make a professional * appearing * web site is important thing you can do some basic graphics, decent appearance. There are a lot of graphics problems that can really do the job, but in terms of power and flexibility goes I recommend Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop no doubt some time getting used to, but ultimately very rewarding. I ended up using my knowledge of Photoshop, not only to create graphics for various web sites, but also touched portraits, made business cards, brochures and other online advertisements such as banners. Infect it uses for everything except animation … But it also comes with Adobe Image Ready which is very good with animation. This software is amazing, and if you learn any image editing software I recommend you start with Photoshop because of its wide range of all … useful!

# # Let's get some sales! # #

A kick in the new Web site that you received from your knowledge and mastery of the Web editing images with sales of some new … Sounds like a plan? Well, a good way to do that quickly is with pay per click advertising. BUT WAIT! Does not cost money? Well … Yes, but with the tools they brought some of the major advertisers pay per click, then we should be able to make a good assessment of the amount of benefits going to do without much initial investment.

The big question behind pay per click advertising is or is not worth the money when you can simply get traffic from regular search engine (also known as organic traffic). After all, there are many companies out there that promise to help you get all the traffic you need through optimizing your site for organic ranking. The answer to this question is very simple: profit is profit. Through tools such as conversion tracking those offered by Yahoo Search Marketing and Google Adwords anyone can calculate exactly what their profit after cost of PPC advertising is out. I think Google Adwords is the most user-friendly interface among the PPC advertisers. Google AdWords interface, you can easily see which keywords are pulling most the sales, and those who are not even worth the money for advertising.

Do not forget, however, that to make these conversions, we need a basket! There There are many different programs that can be used, but I'm using E-Trade Free Shopping Mall for a number of years with great success. Purchase server is hosted on their machines which means that not only you get away without paying for the software itself, but out of having to buy an SSL security ticket too! Nothing better than bargain eh free?

Once you've scored a few sales it would probably be a good idea to start using certain management services from potential customers. I recommend the use of autoresponders for this purpose. Autoresponders are, essentially an registration form that allows you to strategically determine what you want to send each lead after a certain allotted amount of time. For example, suppose someone visits your site and you offer a free newsletter. If you sell an ebook in a very complicated, you could consider sending only information on the most basic concepts at first to arouse their interest. Slowly but surely, you can turn those visitors that might have left your web site and returned in some serious revenue!

As for responding automatically to go, I recommend the use of Aweber. Their customer service is superb (seriously, these guys really know their field!) and can be contacted at any time during the workday by online chat or phone. They also offer tons of free information and guidelines on the use of their services.
