
Mini sites are highly powerful sales tools to promote and sell products, either as digital eBooks and software or physical goods like books bound. Mini sites are generally composed of 5-10 pages and its main purpose is to make a sale. Compared to a content site that can be hundreds or thousands of pages mini-sites that do not need that many pages, otherwise it may deter their main objective is to obtain a sale.
When building a mini site are key factors to keep in mind to make it profitable. I'm not talking about the craft a sales letter reaching here is of course important, but I am focusing in the design aspect. How will you build your mini-site can have an effect on sales. Visitors to your site is in trouble and that the control where you want the unit on its website. You can lose a visitor simply lead to another site or a page where you can make them stay longer on your site which increases your chances of make a sale.
But how can you stay longer and not lose too soon? The answer is in your navigation menu. Remember that you have more pages of your site that may contain some content here and there and people are usually distracted by links. You can place it on the top, bottom, left or right.

Another crucial aspect in building a profitable mini-site is going too far with the usual number of pages is 5.10. I found that by adding pages and content in the form of useful articles, more or less related to the theme of your website, create a site more valuable it is more likely to recur, including visitors and even time for more value in search engines, therefore a better ranking. Search engines love content and if they can offer this you will be rewarded accordingly.

In this case, I prefer to call it a mini super-site that has the features a mini web site and a site's content, but whose main objective is always the same: to make the sale. Sure, you may lose visitors to their pages and possibly other external links, but think of other prizes as regular visitors and search engine traffic.
Clear you can create a mini site with simple pages as little as possible so as not to divert attention from visitors, but depends on your methods to generate traffic. If you are building this type of mini-site, is likely to focus on pay per click advertising on the same site, they are likely to get a good ranking in search engines. In general, it is recommended to drive pay per click traffic to a landing page as a small mini site because they will not lose that visitor quickly because you pay. Otherwise, if you want search traffic, and probably some repeat visitors, you can focus on a mini-site super.
Mini sites are responsible for selling thousands of dollars of products, as I work. And depending on how to generate traffic, you may think well before you design your mini site, you can have a positive or negative effect on their efforts. For example, you can have a negative effect when considering building a small mini-site and hope to get search engine traffic or other, a super mini site and planning to drive traffic to pay for each click it.
