However, it is hard to beat the convenience of having a thousand titles in the range of hand, especially if you go on vacation and bag or suitcase space is limited. Maybe it's time to follow suit and give the technology a chance!
If you're ready to test an electronic book reader, then you have several options. Check out the Kindle from Amazon, Barnes and Noble of food, and the Sony Reader.
Amazon Kindle
The Kindle has been around for a while, and there are a few different prices for different versions of your choice. Kindle can download books from Amazon as well as magazines and newspapers all threads, which means it is not necessary to connect and synchronize your e-book reader to your computer.
Most eBooks are available and affordable (especially if you're used to buy these books bound pricy as they arise) with the best-seller that run on 9.99 Dollars U.S. and many old books available at low cost. You can even find gifts, you can download from the Amazon library.
The disadvantage is that you can buy eBook Library for Amazon Kindle and not yet support the new industry standard for ebooks (ePub).
Currently, 6 base "the screen costs $ 259 Kindle, and Kindle inflated DX (10 "display) is $ 489. Readers may contain e-books 1500-3500, respectively.
Barnes & Noble Nook
A relatively new entrant in the e-book reader market, Corner of Barnes and Noble is associated to his shop, but also has support ePub (which means you can buy electronic books from other stores, too). Like the Kindle, you can download books wirelessly, and has a unique feature that lets you share your downloads with other drives for up to two weeks. Book Corner 1,500 stores electronic.
So far, the reviews were mixed, but it is likely improvements will come with future versions of this e-book reader. The cost his unit is currently $ 259.
Sony Reader
With over five years in the electronic book reader, Sony has some experience, and demonstrated by their intelligent devices and well designed. Its current offerings include Pocket Reader ($ 180), the Reader Touch ($ 300), and the Sony Reader Daily Edition ($ 380).
A readers support multiple file formats, including PDF and ePub and also provide access to all titles free public domain in Google Book Search Library (many classic and vintage books available here.)
If you take more time, probably the future will bring even more options. For example, Apple is rumored to work in an electronic book reader. And, of course, other options are not looking for small manufacturers around before making your final decision!
