great books classics list

Usually a good thing when the most popular books are large and adapted to release the film. This usually means that the recognition the book more continue and that many more people appreciate the great works of literature from which these films are based. And book lovers are guaranteed to be the first to obtain seats in the forefront of these films, in anticipation of how the film was going to happen. Some films well against the barrage of criticism and book lovers. But there are many more bumps and the lack of it, because the dialogue, scenes, characters, or at the end, many fans of the books are left out when viewing their favorite adaptations.

Some of the most popular films that may have done well at the box office but have not done a good job of endearing themselves to literature buffs:

– Stardust: The genius of Neil Gaiman Spirit comes this tale of fantasy, adventure, other worlds and true love. Reached Fame for the first time as a graphic novel, but as a plot of the film has thinned considerably. Although you can see the same magic, humor and charm, the novel graph contains, is not up to its literary equivalent.

– The Glow: Although generally considered a good film, this classic Stephen King is one of those who suffer from infidelity to the original text. Kubrick managed to create a classic horror / thriller with this film, but took many liberties with the plot the film became too independent entity.

– Captain Corelli: The media love stories of war are some of the best things can be a story based. Especially if it is a love story between a soldier and the Italian and the daughter of a local Greek physician. The film version History, however, deviates too much from the book and the love story was too much exaggerated scorn on issues like homosexuality. lovers of literature in general, hatred of such manipulation of the great works of art.

– The Da Vinci Code: This case is exactly the opposite of those of others before him. In fact, it is faithful to the novel that still maintains the same rate as that of the novel, on paper, may seem like a very interesting reading, but the screen turns into a festival of repetition.

These are only a few of the great books that have been butchered by Hollywood. If you want a more complete list of the most brutalized books ever, visit: http://crunkish.com/ten-worst-movie-adaptations/
