Organizing Your Homeschool

So home schooling – that's great! Homeschooling is wonderful, we have gone through a number of years and we love it.

The big question – I have all these great things – where I can say? How to organize the paper and pencils and pens and is very small and not I mean even the books in my, oh books. I have the bass, now I need to know how to organize everything.

First – take a deep breath and know that you are not alone, either at school or travel home in their quest to manage the madness and learn to organize.

The steps of the Organization (aka How to organize) are relatively simple. Imagine a jigsaw puzzle. What you do first? (Well, first open the box, but I imagine that we play.) So what second? Depending on the type of person you, start by sorting machines. Pieces with straight edges into one bundle and rooms without back edges on the bottom box. So our first step in learning the organization is:

STEP 1 HOW TO ORGANIZE – TIR (woo hoo, yeah, I think trumpets and fanfare – it's exciting, we know where to start to learn how to organize)

After sorting makes their currencies, which move to step two. (I know, I know – I can not tell you how to order or what type or how to organize anything – that comes later in the article. Wait.)
What is the next thing to do when building a puzzle? Do we have to sort and then only in the foot? Should we put all the pieces of the environment (ie free of straight line) and the first? No, first build a border of our pieces. So the second step is:

STEP 2 SETTING UP – CREATION OF THE BORDER (Sounds more fanfare of applause)

The border is made, but we're not done yet. If you left the puzzle with only a limit which can never enjoy the beauty of it. The same goes for learning to organize. Establish a border is great, but now you have to use it. How using a border? I'm glad you asked (well, I'm glad I asked, but if you were here, I'm sure I ordered.) Used a border puzzle give us information about the puzzle. Border tells us how big will the final product. Helps us determine where items should go inside and we can see light at the end of the tunnel. (I left a headache for the trains, and soon I will return. It's a mixed metaphor, but. Digression) Therefore, the third step is how to organize the following:

HOW TO ORGANIZE STEP 3 – Place the pieces

This makes sense if you think you make a puzzle, after all you've got this pile of parts not rule just sit and wait. How that works with the organization? Remember Back in the path of the organization – a period in which they were a species? These are our weapons needed to fill the parts mean that you are putting things. (Yes, another light at the end of the tunnel) so that we do, right? After all, we have ordered the parts, build the border, we are filled with the pieces, the puzzle complete. No? Wrong! Sorry, but it is a step before being organized. (Actually, I'm not sorry, it looks nicer to put it this way instead – bucko so bad, stop being a crybaby) What is the last step.? Take a minute to think – when done with a picture of what you do? Remember Me left in a place where it was built? Do you take all these countries unless they can do it all over again? Did you smear Goo so the desire to become a work art hanging on the wall? For our analogy (comparison with the construction of a puzzle to learn to organize) Come on, no, no, yes. No, no leave it where it is – that adds to the confusion. No, we have not removed ("What, are you crazy?" We just do all the work to organize, for the love of God, do not wear out.) Yes, we smear goo on it and it is a work of art. Now, before going to real Goo and really do a lot of things I remember – it is an analogy. The slime is basically what has the parts and retains its attractive appearance. That is what we need – we want our new building area to look nice. For Therefore, the final step is:

HOW TO ORGANIZE THE STEP 4 – The final step – keep it organized (do not remember the fanfare of third stage we'll just add here – great fanfare, fireworks and a light show, and written Skywriter ", you just learn basic steps of how to organize. ")

Now that we have raised the "Steps of the Organization" (also known as shape to organize), see an example.

Note: If you have only short periods of time working on your project organization, and even work your way through the steps, but to organize themselves into small sections. For example, the organization of the first floor, then arrange shelves (one at a time), etc)

Step 1: Classification

This is the hardest part, but if you want to learn to organize and keep organized, it's really necessary. Let's head out of his room school house / area / closet and make the boxes with you. For starters, the labeling on their boxes follows – the trash, gift or sale is not in this area – depending on the amount of things you may need several boxes. Once you've lived your first review take the trash away, and move the gift / sale of paintings to another location (preferably outside your home). Now we come to the basics to learn how to organize – the next step let's start building our border so we can put things in an organized manner. Keep a box or two around so that the products selected is no longer needed can be placed in the box. If you have a lot of items you no longer need, consider selling local convention site or online homeschool books.

If you are limited on space in the school area, check around your house to see if you have storage space anywhere. To keep the number of useful school at least you can choose to keep only what is to be used immediately (within a week, month, quarter or year). For items that are stored in a platform to organize (if possible) or in labeled boxes. Label your boxes with content, so when you need to retrieve the articles, it will be easier to find. An idea of how to organize the storage boxes are labeled with the approximate year (eg, first year university etc), subject (math, science) and date of when you put the box in action. If you find that you have one or more boxes that are not for a while, ask if you need to keep the items in the box, or may sell or donate the property.

Step 2: The construction of a border

Since I have not been home schooling two rooms are alike, I will review some basic principles how to organize the elements of education at home where it should be a good a lot about things and can continue. Otherwise, send me an email through our contact page and let me know your questions about how to organize their education at home (or any other area) and I will try to be of some help.

Books:

Living books, textbooks, workbooks, lab books, notebooks, book chapters, books, early readers, picture books, games, books, teachers, student books, books on home education, books, books, books – if you homeschool, you have books. The question is how to organize all these books?

One option, as space is a shelf. We used the kit building shelves and racks were custom built into a cabinet with shelves and wooden supports our local hardware store. homemade shelves are fairly simple to do and if you do not have the equipment to cut wood at home, most of the hardware to cut pieces for you (for a small fee), only measured before you go. (Measure twice, cut once – otherwise, it is a time to measure, cut once, buying a little more …)

If you want other options organizer tray, you can see conservation options closet, shelf or wall. There are a number of options available so take your time and look around to determine the best idea of how to organize their books. (After all, you have to live with it, I did not)

Supplies:

Supplies tend to multiply, you start with a few pens, and then grow in some way in dozens of feathers. Decide how to organize these materials vary from school to home school at home. Here are a variety of suggestions Boxes and other forms of organization supplies. Use these articles as a springboard for the style of its own border. Remember Read step 3 for information on the use of a label maker to help them learn to organize your pictures, boxes and in an easy to use as well.

Wide drawers hold paper, pens, even filing cabinets. I found the drawers when trying to decide how to organize laboratory supplies. One of my drawers for experiments in vivo, this does not mean that I'm frogs or insects there time using to organize food for fish and frogs, plant seeds and other supplies. Another drawer is our gear tray Explorer, which contains a pair of binoculars, small networks, a small error habitat and other supplies. range bins can be found in the storage section of plastic or section of art. These are usually 12 x 12, so they are ideal for books and documents.

Mini drawers are perfect for organizing pens, pencils, paper clips, rubber bands and all small office supplies. Looking for drawers sure to check the information on the size of the box before buying Online. For example, in some drawer mini web sites to display larger than the width drawers, is not the case in real life. Check the space allocated by the measure, then Search the drawers that fit. (Major project of education at home – to the extent children then determine the area of drawer space and better suited)

shoe boxes seem to have a space in your home school space, but are great for the organization. To find out how to organize manipulatives math, games and computers Scientists think shoeboxes. Items can be easily organized and the boxes have lids are stackable. When you are looking for storage boxes, be sure to look for clear boxes to facilitate the identification of the elements inside, if you constantly have to take pictures of up to know what's in the box, will soon be on their system of organization. You also want boxes that have lids. While baskets are nicer, which do not fit and if something bad is removed from the board to make a big mess. Another reason to have boxes with lids, is that you learn to organize, and very easy to start learning how to organize process falling back into old habits. An open box becomes a dumping ground for the little things.

A decorative way to organize includes the use of baskets (I know I just said do not use baskets, but after learning to organize, you can begin to consider other options such as baskets. Just make sure you are used to very specific things. We have three baskets in a long table near the front door, which is our collection of baskets. Only books in the library and view slides are placed in baskets. You can also use the space door, using something like a 15-In the door pocket organizer or owner of a file folder. We also use toys children's media and storage container, but not in the classroom. Began in the classroom, but I realized that is wrong because there is tapas. In the rooms children, toy organizers work well enough to keep toys organized, but everything depends on the age of their children and the variety of sources. Teaching children how to organize their own things now will save time later.

Step 3: Fill out the pieces

Now is when you start to put things. One element I found to be a great organization tool is a manufacturer of labels. Some examples of manufacturers cloud are the DYMO Personal Label Maker or brother P-touch electronic labeling system. You can even print Avery mailing labels. The point is we need a way to label. What are you going to the label? The short answer is: everything. All boxes, crates and bags must be labeled. In this way, if you find an empty box, you know what was supposed to join. So when you look in the storage area, you can see at a glance what you have. Where can use these tags? Binders Ring 3! To learn how to organize multiple folders in the same space (usually buy them as a multi-pack if they are all the same package) without having to open each file to determine its contents, put a label on the spine and correct the problem.

Step 4: The final step – How to organize for you can stay organized

Once you've learned organization must learn to keep organized. A simple system of organization, it will be easier for you to keep organized. I One way to do by labeling my boxes at both ends, that way when children put them on the platform (do – teach children how to organize) back does not matter, because the boxes are labeled at both ends. Another way I keep organized is to have a section of Mom and playground. In the children's section, there are elements that children can use and learn about themselves, under the breast are the things I think they need help. Varies depending on the age of their children. Remember, unless you live alone (and if you homeschool, so do not live alone) are not the only one who has to know how to organize. If someone know how to organize your life much easier.

Ultimately – Have fun turning your local school, organized a place to be, so enjoy spending time there. Organization is not difficult – Take time to look through your business. Keep what you want, throw away what you do not have and keep what is left so you can find everything you need.
