Paris Whitney Hilton was born on February 17, 1981, to Richard Hilton and Kathy Richards. The largest four children, she is heiress to a part of the Hilton Hotel fortune and the fortune inherited from his father.
Born in New York, Hilton moved between several homes during childhood, including Manhattan, Beverly Hills and the Hamptons. School attended school in California and New York but dropped out and ultimately earned his GED.
Hilton began modeling as a child, appearing in numerous ad campaigns, including Iceberg Vodka, GUESS, Tommy Hilfiger, Christian Dior and Marciano. At the age of 19 years, had earned a reputation as a socialite and was often called "New York, leading It Girl."
