What is the summary of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur CourtBy Mark Twain?

I read the book more than 4 times and I can not seem to find happening, or even the main character, or even if it's a girl? o_O I'm lost and I'm still … The images look like a circus and I saw looks like … lol So What's this? lol it's time to move stunned or sleeping dream?

The main character is a man. Here is what happened as I remember it: He struck head and zapping the court of King Arthur. He convinces them that it is a kind of assistant to compete with Merlin, and introduces all sorts of modern things that seemed magical for the British at the beginning. He eventually returned to you when zapping.
