When should I take the MCAT?

Hi, I'm going to be a junior at UC Berkeley undegrad. I'm pre-med and biology. I …. When should I take my MCAT? I thought in the spring of my junior year, but have not done physics at the end of my third year. So I thought to take the MCAT in the summer of 2011 in its place. I have the intention to ask the medical school during my senior year. However, I must wait one year to apply more experience and maybe make the post-bacc program. What Do you suggest? Also, I'm thinking of buying MCAT preparation books, but do not know if is too early for that. Kaplan thought Examkrackers. Thanks

April plan to put the junior year in college or are very well prepared to take in August before the third year, even if uu get a low score can resume in April of junior year, to make things easier to pick up in April or ur years junior, because in your higher higher if ur application file is complete except for ur MCAT scores (which take about 60 days after u take ur the review to be available for u) central processing application to medical school will be delayed which may reduce the risk to contract with medical school dramatically. In short, having the third year and I would like to see u all notes in science class ur heart and make sure all parts of the MCAT, not ignore the parts where u feel well prepared and not only study subjects in which they excel.
