How long do I have to wait for someone who said they had bought something from me?
I have many, probably about 500 books old comic, who knew a local guy had and I wanted to do with the idea that it would buy them. He had been behind me to the point harassment, so they can finally agreed to see. He offered me $ 250 for the lot, but were told that they keep to himself until he could arrange to pick them up. I agree. Not offered to give me a deposit. It was about 2 months. The other day I phoned to make sure I was always kept to himself. I told him I still had it and would like to give me a date on when thinking of taking. The hem and hawed, said he would begin to show others. He waved and said I had to sell what I gave my word that I would even if it took a year to plan. Now I can not keep waiting forever for him to make arrangements. The house is on sale and I have to clean. What should I do?
