Language is the house of Being – How to go to Martin Heidegger, the human soul
Although critics, academics and experts, statements are repeated Heidgger – in particular, "Language is the house of Being – few have actually given an explanation of what the philosopher really means it.
"The Language is the house of being. In its home man lives. Those who believe and those who believe the words are the guardians of the house "-. Martin Heidegger, German philosopher, Letter on Humanism, 1947.
The philosopher Jose Ortega y Gasset said the man was not likely, only history. While I respect that opinion, I think the truly human nature is the language. As the lesser god Prometheus gave Burning Man, a great God provided a great benefit to mankind: language.
After years of meditation, regardless of Martin Heidegger meant by "Language is the house of Being", which finally began to me (what I saw in the new catastrophic television) means that the language of Heidegger is not just a building, housing construction, a house, but the soul of humanity – Containing infinity.
Through language, we find in heaven and earth with the language to accept or reject God, through language that we accept or reject absolutes that guide the human race.
And yes, it is only through language that aesthetic experience joy, happiness, human love and light – mystique. Despite the happiness and love are closer to the emotional life, viscera, central nervous system, the body can only partially express the happiness and love. The language is necessary, or if not, try to say that painters, poets and writers.
Take Trollope (History of Pendennis): "It is better to love wisely, no doubt, but to love foolishly is better not to be able to love at all. "Trollope and went to the library shelves to fill with language and love.
We and we feel that the use of words. Although the words are clever and thought enough of feeling, that still recognize that even our emotions sincere must be translated into words to express how we feel. When we immerse ourselves in a good book and we feel for the characters: Don Quixote and Sancho to experience the true meaning friendship with Anna Karenina and Aschenbach we feel the exquisite pain deeply troubled souls, with Remedies Beauty and Billy Budd, which ascend to heaven.
Can we building science without language? Is not the language of ship models, axioms, equations, paradigms, and formulas? Wisdom is possible without language?
Even the most recalcitrant language nihilistic or atheistic needs to disprove the existence of God, the God who gave him the gift of tongues. Atheist Ayn Rand comes to mind. After great writing (and soporific) novels in their second language, who died without God – but not voice.
When human beings to master a language, which are never homeless. Tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes or river floods can not keep the homeless man. Even when their houses burn down – we saw the flames destroyed thousands of homes San Diego, California – his spirit, humanity survives in the House to be – that is the miracle of language.
Those who speak – not only in English – various languages should be blessed for they carry not only a house, but many houses being.
