read zane books novels
What are some good novels set in the western United States (from 1830 to 1890)?

I do not want the books written by Louis L'Amour or Zane Grey (What we already know about them) and I prefer books that are not part of a series (unless it is a trilogy). I read the following books: The Oxbow Incident, Oregon Trail, Oregon, hard, and Virginia.

Here is a site that many books are true stories about the lives of those who lived and died in 1800 http://www.parkridgelibrary.org/westernnovels.html But if you are specifically looking for novels that ar stories is setting back in 1800 by the author Lael Linda Miller, who wrote many books and novels are novels alone or part of a series. She is a writer and very famour publishes a new novel about an average of all 12 to 18 months, I guess. However, he has written enough in circulation to keep you bizzy for a while and can be found at your local library. Good luck!
