Kindle VS iBooks

Most of the discussion about reading electronic books in the front IPAD Kindle centers in the devices themselves.

Now that I've had my iPad for a couple of months and my new Kindle 3 to 10 days (I had a Kindle 1 from its first outing), I can say that I prefer to read more books on Kindle 3. If the book has a lot of graphics or photos, especially those of color, IPAD naturally wins. But the brightness of the screen bored fast enough to read any long-term.

IPAD As for web browsing, searching for information quick business, weather and news applications, and some other things while sitting comfortably in my chair at night.

Besides Apple iBook own application, I have the IPAD Kindle, Nook, Kobo, and applications Stanza in my iPad.

If I decide to read a book on the iPad, I am more likely to use application for the Kindle IPAD (same graphics and color photographs are very well in the application Kindle IPAD).

Why?

The Kindle is a superior application of IPAD.

iBooks application looks good navigation, but research and procurement functions are clumsy and not very functional (especially sight and search functions.)

The Nook soft switches for the Safari browser to find and buy an ebook and not automatically return to the application and download the Book Nook bad design. There were also several cases where it can not get the application data download Nook.

Kobo application is not much better, and I do not care much for reading functionality of the interface.

Kindle application, by contrast, provides all the content of Amazon (more than the iBook) and capabilities high quality research and see (which are both better and faster) to IPAD. In a first experience, shopping with Amazon one-click works perfectly on the iPad. Of course, you do go to the Safari browser, but when you bought the book, simply click to send the IPAD Kindle and takes you back to the application reading. Download the book immediately and can be read immediately.

As iBooks, some Kindle books now on board audio and video clips. These look as good on the Kindle IPAD iBook.

Some elegant typography and design tricks you can do in ePub, and therefore are not shown as well in a Kindle book. But if the designer was careful to take into account the limitations of the Kindle platform (while the capitalization of additional visualization capabilities when read in the IPAD) Kindle these books can also provide a pleasant reading experience that everything that exists iBooks.

And it's much more likely to find the book you are looking at Amazon and iBook.

And if you decide to read this book on Kindle 3, the text is only a crisp photos and graphics look great, but in B & W, like everything you read on the iPad.

And this brings us to another factor I like to read Kindle books – I can read the same book on the Kindle today and tomorrow IPAD (Or my iPhone, Blackberry, or Mac if you have one) and both are automatically synchronized to the last page I read, which read.

Thus, despite of all the naysayers who insist that IPAD is the death of Kindle, I have no doubt that the Kindle will be around a long time and be constantly updated. Includes a color (perhaps even with touchscreen) Kindle and probably a Kindle can play both the Kindle and the ePub format (possibly alternating from file downloaded itself).
