Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (DVD) Review

Nominated for 28 Emmys, including several Outstanding Visual Effects, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine continues the rich tradition of the original Star Trek franchise 1960. Created by former police officer in Los Angeles Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek TV series into a franchise famous for the unprecedented fanatical devotion of its audience. It lasted only three seasons during its original network run, Star Trek has won the gold with its repetitions syndicated, launching a series of films with the original cast as well as novels, comics, collectibles, and lots of memories related to Star Trek. In the wake of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), the first Star Trek spin-off of the original Star Trek: Deep Space Nine presaged other spin-offs – Star Trek: Voyager (1995), and Star Trek: Enterprise (2001). Star Trek: Deep Space Nine follows the exploits of the Starfleet crew on board of a space station and destroyed abandoned Cardassian planet's orbit Bajor. Overnight Cardassian occupation, the government invited the Starfleet Bajoria to oversee the rebuilding of the space station. Deep Space Nine quickly transformed into a bustling city of commerce and a travel center (similar to Babylon 5), thanks to the discovery of an unknown wormhole nearby. However, the wormhole leads to the Gamma Quadrant, the kingdom of the feared alliance domain, which considers travelers wormhole as a threat to its totalitarian control over power. Captain Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks) is credited with the discovery of the wormhole, and supervises the crew Deep Space Nine and a battle to preserve the Federation. Along with the rest of the crew of Deep Space Nine, struggling with internal and external conflicts that threaten to destroy their way of life …

The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine has a number of exciting episodes of DVD, including the first series "emissary" in which recently abandoned Cardassian space station, Terok Nor is reinstalled by the Federation, at the request of Bajorians.
